Head Principal Andrea Bishop

Principal Andrea Bishop is a well-known educator in the Warrensville Heights Community as she has served students at Eastwood Elementary, Westwood Elementary and jointly opened the newly combined Warrensville Elementary School in 2021 covering grades 2nd through 5th and now serving those same students at the High School. 

With nearly two decades of experience in education, Principal Bishop is a dedicated and accomplished leader committed to fostering excellence in schools and communities. Principal Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2005 from Ashland University, followed by a Masters degree in Education from Bowling Green State University in 2008 and in 2014, Principal Bishop achieved her Superintendent License from Cleveland State University, equipping herself to lead schools and districts with vision, passion and purpose. 

Throughout her career, Principal Bishop has served as both a classroom teacher and administrator, working in five districts across Northeast Ohio, including the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Over the past nine years, Principal Bishop has brought transformative leadership to Warrensville Heights City Schools. 

Most notably, she has guided the high school to earn an impressive 4 out of 5 stars on the state report card within just one school year—a testament to her dedication to academic excellence and student success along with creating strong teams within the high school. Rooted in values of integrity, honesty, courage and community, Principal Bishop believes in creating supportive, inclusive environments where all students and staff can thrive. 

Principal Bishop is passionate about continuous growth and looks forward to further empowering students, staff, and families to reach their fullest potential. 


Assistant Principal Sabrina Dyson

Sabrina Dyson is an Assistant Principal at Warrensville Heights High School with over 12 years of experience in education. She has served as a math teacher, Dean of Students, and Principal of a charter school, where she developed a strong foundation in student achievement and school leadership. Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science from St. Thomas University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate at St. Thomas University, furthering her commitment to educational excellence. Sabrina is dedicated to empowering both students and staff, fostering an environment where growth and achievement thrive.

Assistant Principal Lawrence Perry

Assistant Principal Lawrence Perry

Lawrence grew up in East Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Shaw High School. He continued his education at Capital University for undergraduate studies and later obtained a Master’s degree and teaching license from Notre Dame College of South Euclid. With 15 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist for East Cleveland City Schools,Lawrence also served as an athletic coach for 13 years within the district. In 2020, he earned a principal license from Cleveland State University and became the Assistant Principal at Warrensville Heights High School in 2021.

This $31.7 million endeavor, envisioned by architects Moody Nolan, and with the collaboration of community partners, parents, and administrators has provided for students a contemporary and adaptable learning community. The school is enhanced with flexible learning spaces, including open collaboration zones, maker spaces, and specialized rooms for culinary arts and firefighting training. Furthermore, it boasts a professional quality auditorium, an expanded gymnasium, and a vibrant e-sports center. The campus also boasts a brand new football stadium, track, baseball and softball fields, and a revitalized community center, creating abundant opportunities for both academic pursuits and extracurricular adventures.
